2012 Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster – ANNOUNCED

As a key partner and supporter of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster, The Ord Valley Events Board and Mellen Events are delighted to inform you that the State Government’s recent funding boost to the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster will enable the already iconic event to grow significantly in substance and profile in 2012 (May 25 – June 3).

Now in its twelfth year, the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster will feature an outstanding line-up of concerts and events for the entertainment of Kimberley residents and the many visitors from around the nation and across the globe that the region attracts at this time of the year.

We are extremely excited to announce that the headline acts for the 2012 Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience are Australian music legends, Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers and The Black Sorrows. The internationally acclaimed Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience, to be held on Saturday, June 2, is one of the major highlight of this exciting fun-filled 10 day festival.

Kimberley Kitchen with Poh

Another huge drawcard of this year’s event will be the Kimberley Kitchen featuring Poh Ling Yeow, star of television cooking show “Poh’s Kitchen” on ABC1. Poh’s celebrity food career began in the first season of MasterChef Australia 2009, after which she was asked to present her own cooking show on ABC1. In 2010 she published her first cookbook “Poh’s Kitchen – My Cooking Adventures”, which was one of the Top Ten Australian bestsellers for six weeks.

In Kununurra Poh will be demonstrating her sensational cooking skills, using local produce, in Celebrity Tree Park on Wednesday, May 30.
